Equip
We want to invite you to our new quarterly spiritual workshop for Christians called Equip. They are designed for Christians to learn how to live in the power of God all day, every day.
This quarter we want God to equip us with how we listen to God and how we speak to ourselves.
Reading the Bible For All Its Worth: When you read the Bible, does it feel like you reading a book or listening to a person? How can we learn to listen to God so his Word feels like drinking living water, not stuffing down spiritual cough syrup.
Gospel Fluency: Could it be that our problem is we spend more time listening to ourselves than we do speaking to ourselves? What if the most important sermon we hear is the one we preach to ourselves?

Easter
The Day Death Died
Easter is when we remember the day the power of death was overcome by the power of resurrection. We want to invite you to see how the comfort of the resurrection can provide for those who grieve a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.
Good Friday
The Day God Died
Good Friday is when we remember the day God died in the darkness so we can live in the light. We want to invite you to a meditation on the goodness of Good Friday and meaningfully remember the day everything changed.
Seeing Women As Jesus Did
Resound | Kizuna (絆)
Kizuna (絆) in Japanese means friendship/brotherhood-bond, tie, connection or knit together.
All Resound churches—geographically distant but spiritually united in Christ—aim to be knit together with other member churches across Asia-Pacific.
All Resound virtual meetings and conferences are called Resound | Kizuna—a place where we come together and encourage and equip one another to proclaim the good news of Jesus across Asia-Pacific.
Redeemer belongs to an Asia-Pacific family of churches called Resound, which is hosting a webinar with Dr. Rebecca McLaughlin on Seeing Women As Jesus Did.

A Christmas Day Banquet
Good News for the Not Good Enough
This year we want to meditate on the birth of Christ through the arts in a special service followed by lunch.
We’d love for you and your loved ones to join us as we ask why Christmas is good news for our nagging sense of not-good-enoughness.
Update (23/12/2022): The Christmas Banquet will go ahead in-person and online, as originally planned.
Christmas Day. Hotel Southgate, Green Park, from 11am onwards
Update (22/12/2022): Given the government directive issued on Dec 22, 2022, to ban any festival related gatherings on Christmas day, we are going to host our Christmas service online (10:30am onwards).
We feel an online service, while certainly not ideal, will actually create the same experience for everyone who joins. On Christmas day especially we feel it will be important for all of us to feel united in our shared sense of disconnection, while celebrating our hope in Christ in these deeply disruptive times.
The link to join will be posted here on Christmas Day.
A King is Born

Your Future Self Will Thank You

Where is God in a Coronavirus World?
“Where is God?” is not a question we ask out of intellectual curiosity but out of a sense of utter exasperation at something that has happened. It comes from the feeling of reaching the end of yourself, only to find you have been left there by yourself, perhaps by someone who wasn’t even there to begin with.
To wrestle with this question, we invite you to a webinar with Rebecca McLaughlin to explore the role and relevance of God in a pandemic.
Rebecca McLaughlin is the author of Confronting Christianity: 12 hard questions for the world's largest religion, which was featured on the TED summer reading list and named "Book of the Year" by Christianity Today.
She holds a Ph.D. in English literature from Cambridge and a theology degree from Oak Hill College in London.
In 2008, she moved to America and spent 9 years as the VP of content at the Veritas Forum where she had the privilege of identifying and equipping Christian professors to speak about their faith in relation to their work.
In September 2017, she co-founded Vocable Communications—a speech-focused, data-driven communications firm dedicated to helping leaders deliver messages that change minds.
She has one husband, two young daughters, and an infant son.

Redeemer's Membership Preview
The church is one body with many members.
Membership is belonging to a church. It's moving from being friendly with a church to becoming family. It’s when greater intimacy comes with greater devotion and brings greater growth, unity and maturity. It’s how we’re meant to flourish as real people who reveal the real Jesus in the real world.
If you're a member or have been attending Redeemer for a while and are looking for a church to call family, we would love to invite you to our membership preview. It will give members a picture of what the future looks like for us. It will give anyone curious about membership a glimpse, a taste, and a feel of what it will be like to be a member of Redeemer.
